1. What is a transcript?

14. Is it possible to add my name to my birth certificate?

Yes, after you place an order for a birth certificate and upload your documents, you’ll be asked to fill in the necessary details that should be part of your new birth certificate including your name. Supporting proof of your identification is a must!

 

15. Is it possible to change my name in birth certificate?

Yes, you can. However, the process to change your name completely is a little complex. It needs a court order to file for the correction of the same. Additionally, the details of the public document where the change was mentioned would have to be submitted from your end.

 

16. Is it possible to change my parents' name on the birth certificate?

Yes, it is! However, the procedure is a bit complex. After placing an order, there are certain details you’ll be asked to fill that shall be printed on your new birth certificate. Make sure you check the name spells before submitting the same along with supporting proofs.

 

17. Is it possible to change the place of birth on my birth certificate?

Yes, alongside your name, parent’s name and date of birth, you’ll be asked to fill in your birth of place that should be displayed on your new birth certificate. Again, supporting proof of identification will be required.

 

18. Is it possible to add a maiden name to the birth certificate?

19. I have a handwritten birth certificate. Will that be valid for my green card application?

21. I already have my birth record available, is it possible to still get the NABC?

28. What do I do if my birth certificate is available other than the English language?

29. What is the process to get my birth certificate translated?

For translation of your birth certificate, reach out to the authorized firm. NRIWAY provides translation services from English in the following languages or vice versa: Mandarin, French, German, Spanish and Italian.  

 

30. How long usually the translation takes?

40. I don’t have my parents ID proof. What will be the alternative document?

56. My official paper transcript hasn't reached its destination. what can I do?

67. My college is closed now, but the university it was affiliated with is there. Who will issue me the transcripts?

68. What is WES Academic Request Form?

WES’ Academic request form is used by schools in order to request your academic records or documents from the institution (s) you were educated from. Hence, it is a convenient way for the school you attended to send your documents directly to WES.

69. Why don't I see the price for service?
