Instructions for the Applicant

• Apply for duplicate mark sheet in VIT Vellore along with the original FIR and Affidavit in English. If original certificates are found, the original certificates must be returned to VIT Vellore University.

• Then apply for name correction in certificates along with the required documents, after name correction in the administrative office of Gazette Notification copy.

• The applicant should make the payment in VIT Vellore cash counter or by Demand Draft favouring VIT Vellore University, payable at Tamil Nadu, India.

• The pay order or cheques are not acceptable in the Office of the Controller of Examinations.

• A minimum of four weeks from the application date is required to process the duplicate mark sheets in VIT Vellore. It may take more time if there is a delay in verifying the authenticity of the documents like Affidavit or FIR by the issuing authorities.

Duplicate mark sheets VIT Vellore for International or Timed out students only

• The first step for duplicate mark sheets for international students is downloading the request form and filling in the required details.

• Then, they have to enclose a Demand Draft in favour of Vellore Institute of Technology payable at Vellore for the required amount. The amount may vary depending on the number of transcripts and the format.

• The applicant has to enclose a self-addressed stamp affixed; rupees 100, in case of fewer than 10 transcripts, and for more than 10 sets then additional Rupees 20 per set; A3 size cloth cover post posts within India.

• Suppose you send any other individual for applying and collecting the transcripts on behalf of you in person. In that case, they need to carry an authorization letter with the documents mentioned above. However, the individual need not carry the self-addressed cover to the Controller of Examinations.

• If you require the individual transcript set to be packed in a sealed cover signed by the Controller of Examinations, ensure to mention it in your requisition.

• At last, you have to send the request with all the enclosures addressed to the Controller of Examinations, VIT University, Vellore- 632 014, Tamil Nadu, India.

1. Affidavit - For a duplicate mark list, you'll need an affidavit that includes your registration number or USN, the year the mark list was issued, the name of the university and college where you studied, and the name of the course you took, and the duration of the course.
2. Cover Letter- An application in the form of a cover letter needs to be written to the University informing of the loss of the particular mark list and request for a duplicate to be issued.
