USCIS Resumes Premium Processing for all H-1B Petitions

The US Citizenship and Immigration Services resumed the premium processing of petitioners on Monday, 12 March 2019. That means it guarantees "15 days processing" otherwise USCIS will Refund premium processing fee.

After a long time H1 B suspension seen earlier 2017, the department now took a step to break the suspension. The agency has reopened it again for all petitions done before 31st Dec, 2018. This suspension aggravated many outsourcing companies depending on premium processing to meet their staff needs. As a result many companies filed more than approx. 40 lawsuits against federal government for H 1B Visas Premium Processing.

  • As of 12 March 2019, USCIS lifted up the premium processing suspension took earlier in 2017 for thousands of petitioners.

  • If a request for RFE (Request for Evidence) is completed, then Premium Processing took place for petitioners with RFE request.

  • If H1-B petitions was transferred to a any other service center, premium processing along with transfer request from originatory place would be sent to final service center to get them approved.
