What is Embassy Attestation?

Procedure 

Legalization of Indian-originated documents that must be produced in other countries need to be obtained from the appropriate Indian embassies or consulates in order to be considered as legally acceptable. To have the document legalised by the particular embassy, a precise procedure must be followed.

1. First, the respective state’s Home department or Human Resource Department authentiates the document
2. The Ministry of external Affairs in New Delhi will perform a secondary check
