This visa permit is issued to foreign people who will work in Malaysia for less than 24 months.
The training visa and dependant visa are also coupled with a working visa.
Training visas are offered to foreign citizens who desire to train under Malaysians for a maximum of 12 months.
Dependent visas are provided to the spouse and dependent children of a foreign citizen who will be working in Malaysia on one of the three visas listed above.
The validity of this visa is linked to the validity of the work visa. A dependent visa may also be provided to the spouse and dependent children of a foreign person enrolling in a full-time Master's, post-Doc, or PhD programme in Malaysia.

Spouse Visa To Malaysia

A foreigner married to a Malaysian citizen is eligible to apply for a spouse visa or a long-term social visit permit. For a duration of five years, this visa allows the holder to enter and depart Malaysia many times. It is usually provided for one year, but it can be extended for another four years. It also enables him/her to work in Malaysia without the need for a separate work visa. After 5 years of marriage and residing in Malaysia, the individual may seek for permanent residency.
