Whenever a person's Official record of birth cannot be located, they may be issued an NABC. NABCs are unregistered Official records of birth. If a birth record cannot be located, an NABC can be issued. In the case of an NABC, there will be no birth record in government records if the local registrar signs it. If NABCs are available, USCIS does not require an Official record of birth for I-485 applications. You must have an unavailable Official record of birth to apply for I-485. A non-availability certificate (NABC) is also required in the Netherlands, Canada, and Australia to obtain a green card. NABCs can also provide an OCI card.

Procedure
The relevant Official record of the registrar's office must be searched for birth records first to ensure that no Official record of birth is available. In the absence of records, an NABC is generated. The application process for this certificate is now more straightforward. Additional documents may be requested by the municipal office as well.

Step 4: Once the documents have been verified, a quote is created

Step 7: The documents will be submitted to the local municipal office if the estimate is approved by the customer and the interim payment is made. Upon applying for the certificate, you will receive an email notification. Upon completion of the search, we will update the birth records.
Step 8: If the record cannot be found, then the local government officials will provide you with a letter stating that a birth certificate is not available.
Step 9: Shipping After final payment the documents will be shipped to your address. International orders will incur a shipping charge, but domestic orders will not. There will be a final payment raised. We will upload the soft copy once we receive the final payment.
